We have really started to see a change in our lil man! For one, he is not so little any more. The last time he wore his cousin Wake's Tigger robe, it completely swamped him. Now, it doesn't even cover his hiney!
He seems to be growing every day (he is now 26 inches long!) and getting stronger. He loves to sit up and lets you know his displeasure in being held like a little baby. He believes he is a big boy and should sit up like one.
The craziest thing is that he is his happiest when getting his diaper changed. He loves laying back on his changing table and looking up at you. He almost always starts giggling immediately (especially if he has left an especially stinky present for you).
This picture just cracks me up! He just is such a cute little dude! His Grams found him a cute little winter time rocker outfit but the hat from it went so well with his daddy's favorite outfit that we combined the two.
It is finally Thanksgiving Break - meaning Breck has been going to school for six whole weeks now (and so have we). He is doing so well there. The ladies that take care of him are completely awesome and love on our lil man so much. I have to admit though, it felt amazing to pick him up Friday and know that he didn't have to go to school for an entire week. And we are taking full advantage of it! Today, we showed daddy how much fun the zoo is. Brian put Breck in the carrier (which he loved) and he just soaked up everything he saw with wide eyes and smiles!
I love how he's being bashful at the monkey looking at him. He grabbed his bib and covered his face up!
He also came home with a little cheetah stuffed animal that he was holding by himself and snuggling. We have named him Cho-Cho (he got a monkey last time that's named Mo-Mo). He played with Cho-Cho all the way home. He is definitely seeing more these days and reaching to grab things so it's fun to watch him interact with objects more. I think I see a beautiful friendship between Breck and Cho-Cho developing!
And since football season is officially over (it ended Friday night in the second round of the playoffs when the other team won by one point in the last few seconds of the game), we will be seeing family for Thanksgiving after all. We still have people on my side that Breck hasn't met yet, so we are excited to get daddy back! and to get to go visit family over the holidays.
We have lots of other fun things on the agenda for the week, so I'm sure I'll update again before long with details and pictures from the rest of our break.
