School's out for Summer!!

It's finally here!!! Wow - it is crazy how the school year can feel interminably long and also like it went by in a flash! I would love to say we are ready to live it up this summer, but it seems like our schedule is already jammed packed! Today was the last day for teachers and yet tomorrow we have two appointments before 10 a.m., then poor Brian has 7 on 7 football from 11 a.m. to 5-ish. Next week, Brian has football camp every morning (6:30 a.m. to noon), as well as graduation, 7 on 7 football and a teachers' conference. So, he really doesn't get to experience summer until next week. I will be at a teachers' conference 3 days the following week (June 16-18). Before we know it, it will be the third week of summer, and we'll both be off! I embark on my Costa Rican journey (check out my blog at bstundcostarica.blogspot.com) June 23rd - July 2nd. Brian will be hanging out in Vegas for a couple of days while I'm gone. (His flight got bumped the last time we were in Vegas and so American Airlines gave him a $300 voucher. Crazily enough, we earned some rewards - since we've been to Vegas twice in the last 10 months! - and so his entire trip will be almost free!) So, we are looking at July before life settles down a bit and we are both around! Of course, Brian only has the first two weeks of July before he reports back to football. It seems like summer just gets shorter and shorter!
